Stellar Lumens

XLM (Stellar Lumens) is the native asset of the Stellar network. It serves multiple purposes:

• Pay transaction fees (typically 0.00001 XLM per operation)
• Maintain minimum account balances (base reserve)
• Prevent spam by requiring small amounts for account creation
• Bridge currency for cross-asset transactions via the DEX
